Introduction
As per the vision of The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Naya Pakistan Housing Program has been launched, with the aim to provide better livelihood and shelter to the low / middle income households. Construction of houses has been initiated, keeping in view the end user’s functional requirements. The houses will be allotted at merit through transparent ballot.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) to soften terms of housing loan so that people can get maximum benefit of the government’s flagship Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) to build their houses.
NPHDA Chairman Lt-Gen (retd) Anwar Ali Hyder said the government had announced it will extend a Rs300,000 subsidy for the construction of each first 100,000 houses to be constructed under the programme.
NBP President Arif Usmani said people could directly approach him at his number, 03025567776, in case of any glitch in their loan process.
Shibli said this was the beginning of fulfillment of a dream to develop Pakistan as a welfare state.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicant should be resident of province of Punjab. Residents of concern district will be given priority.
- No house or plot should be registered against the name of the applicant.
- Applicant must live in the house furthermore, is bound not to sell the house for 05 years.
- Applicant can apply through government quota reserved for government/police/army official (injured or martyred during duty) or through disabled quota reserved for general public.
Documents Required:
- A copy of their CNIC
- Two passport-sized photos
- A salary slip in case they are employed or a copy of rent agreement of shop or house
